Four pictures, one word is the latest obsession on Facebook and lends itself perfectly to teaching. Just as the title says, you have to work out the word linked by the images. Obviously it works really well for languages but I expect it would also be good for key terms in any subject. I have prepared lots for German and Spanish and I will upload them once I have used them with my classes. I wouldn't want to give the answers away too early!

Create flashcards on any topic to share with classes. The data is then used to generate games such as hangman and bugmarch. There are lots of pre-made resources for a wide range of subjects or it is very easy (and free!) to make your own. http://www.studystack.com/
