Input a sentence at a time and change the settings so that you can only see the starting letters - you need to make your brain work to try and learn this! If you do not have your work, I have left copies with your cover teacher. If you do not like memorizenow.com and prefer to learn it without the computer, that is fine. There are a number of ways you can prepare thoroughly for the listening exams, but vocabulary is absolutely essential. The more words you know, the better you will do!
1. VOCABULARY There are a variety of quizlets here. Use these to prepare for the mocks and take the quizlet challenge as you prepare for the real exams. Learning a small number of words everyday can make a huge difference. 2. Past papers You can access a range of past papers here, along with the mark schemes and grade boundaries. Use them as an opportunity to identify any gaps in your knowledge and learn from them! 3. Useful websites for listening and reading practice GUT - please be aware this site ONLY works after 4:00 and at weekends, but you can access a good range of listening and reading tasks. GCSE bitesize Karaka - challenging, but good listening and reading articles. Try to listen and read for gist. Listen to the recording and fill the gaps on your worksheet.
